In August 2007, at the start of thre six week pre production period, Jonnie Hurn decided to keep a secret journal of his experiences as a first time producer, starting with no budget, no cast, no crew, no locations and just two guys, a script and a shoot date.
It is both a fascinating and comic account charting the growth of their vision from nothing through raising the finance, finding a crew, casting sessions (both people and dogs), rain-soaked location scouting, standing in lakes and the inevitable problems that beset independent film making across two countries...
