TIFFANY PAGE - "OLD FRIEND"

"She got her first guitar for her 14th birthday. By then she had discovered the joys
of American alternative rock – the first records she bought were Nevermind, Pearl
Jam’s No Code and Smash by The Offspring. As soon as she had learnt how to
play three rudimentary chords on her new acoustic she began writing songs. She
still has the tapes of all of them. She can’t recall any titles, but suggests they were
exclusively angry."

"A 23 year old Fender-wielding Chrissie Hynde for the 21st Century, complete
with a wild streak a mile wide"  Q Magazine

SLASHED SEAT AFFAIR - "FORGET THE WORLD"

Slashed Seat Affair were approached for the soundtrack to Do Elephants Pray? before the script had been written when Jonnie Hurn met them as guests on the Mike Mendoza radio show. They have quickly built a devoted following in the UK and abroad. The song "Forget The World" was written especially for the film.

Inspired by personal experiences the band’s music deals with a range of issues, including betrayal, guilt, love, insecurities and somewhat bizarrely, tinnitus! The combination of great musicianship, melodies and performance shine through in both live and recorded formats.

“They are truly blessed with a really enigmatic frontwoman, captivating to look at she demands attention”

VANESSA & THE O'S - "PRES DE TOI" & "COMMENT TE DIRE ADIEU"

Vanessa Contenay-Quinones is French, Paris born and bred. She grew up with the sounds of 60's French pop found sneaking through her dad's vinyl collection. Gainsbourg, Francoise Hardy, Polnaref, Dutronc held sway over the faves of the day. Rock & Roll, Elvis, Eddie Cochrane, Doo-Wop, Billie Holliday and Scott Walker also lived on her personal compilations making her something of an outsider as the only 'Teddy Girl' at a strict convent school so she quit at 16 to start on her career in music.

Vanessa & The O's grace the Soundtrack with two songs, one original composition and the other a stunning cover of the Serge Gainsborough classinc "Comment Te Dire Adieu".
